Founder & Director
Alice Belton
Back in 2021, Alice was inspired by her passion for growing organic food and desire to share this with her local community, and Olinda Community Gardens was born. She has a background in business and retail, but nowadays spends most of her time gardening and growing, in addition to being a busy wife and mum!

Kerenza has been the co-director of Olinda since 2023, leading on the development of the first phase of Dunham Massey community garden. She has a background in permaculture and organic growing and is passionate about medicinal herbs and using plants for everyday health and skincare. In her paid working life, Kerenza is a cultural producer and specialises in developing projects with artists within community contexts.

Anna first started working with Olinda in her role as Senior Volunteering & Community Officer at the National Trust. Since 2022, she has been helping Alice and Kerenza to grow the business. Her responsibilities include a range of operational matters, from policies and procedures, to marketing and fundraising.
Freelance Session Facilitator
Alice Farran
Alice developed her passion for gardening after a period of illness. She finds it therapeutic to work in the calm and enjoyable space of a garden. And she also enjoys the sense of productivity and achievement that gardening provides.
Alice started her horticulture journey as a volunteer for the National Trust at the beginning of 2022. She has also been involved in local community garden projects encouraging people to engage with nature, sustainable gardening and food growing. She has studied with the RHS and is always open to sharing knowledge and developing skills.
