Our Volunteer Sessions
Our volunteers sessions take place on Wednesdays at our Dunham Massey site. We just love these sessions, they are truly magical. In fact, in a recent survey, 100% of participants said that their wellbeing had improved since being involved. Volunteers come from a very diverse range of places and backgrounds. You can expect to learn how to grow food (from digging and weeding to sowing seeds and foraging), to get involved in creative tasks and, of course, the chance to have a good chat! We grow to organic principles and share our produce amongst our volunteers and food banks, and also occasionally sell produce in the local community. We welcome ideas, are very inclusive and love empowering people - absolutely everyone is very welcomed. There is no obligation to come every week - some do but others come once a month or even once a year.
